Tire Description

The Turanza EL41 is a Grand Touring All-Season tire designed for sports sedans and sports coupes. It was developed to blend some of the looks and handling of a performance tire with the low noise and ride comfort associated with a passenger tire, as well as provide year-round traction, even in light snow. On the outside, the Turanza EL41 features a symmetric tread design with lateral and circumferential tread grooves aligned to evacuate water out from under the tire's footprint enhancing wet traction and reducing hydroplaning. The resulting rectangular tread blocks are densely siped to provide additional snow biting edges and are combined with an all-season tread compound to provide traction on dry, wet and light snow-covered roads. Internally, the Turanza EL41 features twin steel belts reinforced by spirally wrapped nylon to stabilize the tread area enchancing treadwear, handling and high-speed capability. The Turanza EL41 features a polyester cord body to provide a smooth ride.

It is ludicrous the reviews are this low for such a wonderful tire! My driving style is average but sometimes I am aggressive in corners. Previous cars owned: Mustang 5.0, SVT Contour. Today I replaced tires on my Accord coupe, the original OEM factory tires on the car were the Turanza EL41 and I replaced them again with this same model. The ride quality has been excellent and the noise level in the cabin is very low (I believe if you buy a lower quality tire your noise level will go up and who wants that in my fully loaded Accord!) I would recommend these to anyone. 85K miles on the tires, who can complain.
