The Potenza RE760 Sport is Bridgestone's Ultra High Performance Summer tire developed for drivers of sports cars, sporty coupes and performance sedans who want to maximize sport driving pleasure without abandoning treadwear. The Potenza RE760 Sport is designed to deliver sharp response along with traction in wet and dry conditions, however like all summer tires, the Potenza RE760 Sport is not intended to be driven in near-freezing temperatures, through snow or on ice. Bridgestone's UNI-T Technology focuses on three primary tire components - the beads, casing and tread - that influence overall performance by enhancing comfort, handling and traction. The Potenza RE760 Sport molds an ultra high performance tread compound into an asymmetric tread design with a 3D center block to enhance dry traction and cornering ability. NOTE: While initially appearing somewhat directional, the Potenza RE760 Sport tread design is only asymmetric, allowing tires to be mounted on either side of the vehicle. The tire's asymmetric internal structure includes a Computer Optimized Component System that combines two high-tensile steel belts reinforced by spirally wrapped nylon to stabilize the tread area, enhance handling, high-speed capability and ride quality while minimizing weight. The tire's stiffer outer sidewall reinforcement enhances steering response and cornering stability.

I bought the Potenza RE760 Sport to replace my worn out set of Michelin Pilot Sport PS2s. The RE760s were about 70% the cost of the PS2s and nearly parity to their overall handling quality. My guess is that they'll wear longer too. The Acura TL was engineered for Ultra High Performance Summer tires and better. Dump the OEM Bridgestone Turanza tires and buy a set of tires made for an incredible machine like the TL. I get no movement around corners, no chatter and squeal in higher speed turns and I've had them up over 130 MPH a couple of times...smooth and stable. (Yes, there are still places in Arizona where you can do this safely and with impunity.) They brake well too. I've had them on the highway in intense, heavy rain and they performed securely. They're quiet enough. So far, I have nothing but great reviews for the Potenza RE760, especially given their significantly lower price versus what I would say are the gold standard tire for this car, the Pilot Sport PS2. I highly recommend the Potenza RE760s.
