Driving in Alaska is not easy, specially in the winter. Driving actively in the winter is also a challenge. This was my 3rd set of Blizzaks on my toyotas, and they have never failed me. Even more, once they wear the Blizzak compound I use their superb traction in the summer as well. They have been through fresh deep snow in the mountains, freezing rain, pouring rain, long stretches of sharp gravel, high altitudes and rocks... Did good, and this is definitely the choice. Wearing my older DM-Z3 as summer tires now, just ordered new DM-V1 for the upcoming winter.
